On January 21st, the current AAAL president, Dr. Tim McNamara joined us online to share his insights on the fairness and justice issues related to language testing for immigration and citizenship. The webinar was a great success with over 100 participants attended the live session from around the world. 

 

The webinar was organized by two GSC Social Media Sub-Committee members, Jui-Hsin (Renee) Hung and James Coda. Doctoral student, Shinhye Lee from Michigan State University was the moderator.
